Ramaraju is the founder of origin architects which is a contemporary design firm taking inspiration from Indian traditional values and beliefs. He has a B. Arch from RV College Bangalore an M. Arch from Manipal Academy of Higher Education. He has done an MBA in construction management. He has also done a management programme for entrepreneurs and family businesses from IIMB. His previous teaching experiences include faculty at Jain college. He has also given guest lectures at Manipal academy of higher education, and RNS college of architecture. He was an executive committee member of Indian Institute of Architects.
