The Centre for Habitat Design, Innovation, and Management (CHDIM) was set up in 2013 and is a recognized VTU Research Centre. The Centre is dedicated to fostering innovation and effective management practices in the realm of habitat design. Established to address the evolving challenges of urban and rural living environments, CHDIM serves as a hub for research, education, and collaboration. Through its interdisciplinary approach, CHDIM explores novel design strategies, innovative technologies, and sustainable management solutions aimed at enhancing the quality of human habitats. By engaging with diverse stakeholders and leveraging cutting-edge research, CHDIM seeks to contribute to the development of resilient, inclusive, and environmentally conscious habitats for present and future generations.
