She is an Assistant Professor at Bachelors of Architecture at Dayananda Sagar College of Architecture, since 2019. She has completed her Bachelors of Architecture from CSIIT, a college affiliated to the Jawaharlal Nehru Architecture and fine arts university, Hyderabad, and a Master in Habitat Management from CEPT University, Ahmadabad. She emphasizes the need for introducing sustainability into architectural projects at a large scale and has a deep understanding on the concept of placemaking. Her distinct set of qualifications, varied skillsets, and exposure to management, help her to look at architecture from a fresh and different perspective. Her Masters’ thesis, A business model for a placemaking consultancy in the urban sector in India, gave her exposure to the several placemaking consultancies around the world and serves as a stepping stone to any aspiring architect, who would like to start off on their own. She has previously worked with organizations of varied scale, which gives her good exposure to different work patterns. She has been awarded the Best studio award for her work in the ward management studio and was a recipient of the presidential scholarship (Based on merit) for both the years at CEPT. She has earned a certificate for being a part of a Teacher training program on energy-conscious urban form. (COA) She is also an Accredited professional of the Indian green building council (IGBCAP) and has been certified by ECBC for the Comprehensive training program conducted by them.
